My cheerleading career started in 1997 with a small recreational team. I started with no background in cheer and very little tumbling background. I came from a life of Tae Kwon Do where I achieved a Black Belt Ranking and 6 Jr. Olympic Gold medals across the Nation. With my new start in cheerleading I quickly learned all the basics and strived to take it higher everyday. By May of 2000 I was performing at the Pro Bowl as an All-American Cheerleader. I placed 4th in the tumbling division with over 200 competitors. From there I went to Wellington High School where I was a successful varsity Cheerleader for 3 years and also focused on a varsity Wrestling Career; in which I also excelled. In 2005 I placed 2nd at Florida’s Wrestling State Finals. I then joined the Florida Nation Wrestling Team. I competed in the 2005 National Duals where team Florida took 12th among 42 other states. After a physical set back in 2006 I went back to Cheer where I cheered for Wellington All-Stars, Top Gun and Palm Beach Atlantic University. I have since stop competing but still remain coaching across the county. I have completed NCA coaching seminars along with many years of coaching with Hernan Cortes. Hernan has since brought my Coaching ability to another level! He also introduced me to the Wellington Cougars! I strive for the best and will always bring those around me to the top!
